Mighty Writers El Futuro Kennett is a bright and cheerful space in Toughkenamon, Pennsylvania, where kids of all ages attend bilingual after-school writing workshops, get individual help with homework, learn social-emotional skills like mindfulness, empathy and conflict resolution, and create artistic projects that pay tribute to their Latino heritage.

Their families are supported at Mighty Writers too – through free activities that help them connect with other parents and build skills that will help them in the job market.

Mighty Kennett families also have access to our client choice food pantry, where they get fresh food — fruit, veggies, meat, dairy and more — and a nice selection of basic needs items, like diapers and formula.

And, like all of our programs since our founding in 2009, it’s all for free. Families in our Mighty communities don't pay a penny to participate in our programs, even during summer camp, when their children get to take field trips to museums, cultural centers, and even cities like Washington, D.C.

But we can't do it without your help, which is why we're asking for your generous support for the children and families of Southern Chester County.
